Programs

Three ways of working.

Each program is a complete journey from a first question to a real audience: a journal, a Jamboree, a Summit. Choose by the kind of work a student wants to do. Curiosity is the only prerequisite.

No. 01Thinking

Academic Writing & Publication

學術寫作與論文發表

Bring a question. We bring the method, the data, the compute and a mentor who has published. Curiosity is the only prerequisite.

A complete research project, from a first question to a paper written in English and matched to a real venue. Most students use data and machine learning as their instrument; the same journey works for any field with evidence.

iGEM

iGEM 國際遺傳工程機器設計競賽

If you have ever wondered whether a bacterium could be taught to do something useful, you are already halfway in. Curiosity is the only prerequisite.

Synthetic biology the way a team actually lives it: a real problem, a designed biological system, a model, an experiment, and the responsibility to explain it to the world. The road from a first idea to a team standing at the Grand Jamboree, with the pieces prepared so that students can spend their energy on the science.

Biodesign Challenge

Biodesign Challenge(BDC)生物設計挑戰賽

If you have ever looked at a mushroom, a textile or a tide pool and thought what else could this be, this is your room. Curiosity is the only prerequisite.

Where biotechnology meets design: students learn to look closely at living systems, imagine what they could become, and build proposals that are rigorous, beautiful and responsible. The road from a first material experiment to a team presenting at the Biodesign Challenge Summit in New York.

Begin with a question.

Tell us what a student cannot stop thinking about. We will suggest where it could go.
